Morah Leora,

Morah Leora has been a proud part of the Rego Hebrew faculty for the past 6 years, and an avid educator for the past 8 years. Born into a family of musicians and actors, Leora took to the  stage at a young age. As Judaism became a core passion in her life, she began composing music reflecting her newfound love of the Jewish faith and Hasidism. Today, when not coordinating Hebrew School,  Morah Leora enjoys songwriting, performing and leading improvisational drama workshops for women and girls. Morah Leora is thrilled to be a part of the team!

Rabbi Shlomo

Hebrew School Director
Russian Liason

Rabbi Shlomo Nadtochy was born and raised in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. After finishing elementary school at age 15, he went on to study at the Chabad Yeshiva in Dnepropetrovsk, and from there to a number of Yeshivot around Europe and the states. With a fluent Russian, and understanding of the culture, Rabbi Shlomo works in and around the predominantly Russian speaking community, servicing its citizens in their language. Rabbi Shlomo enjoys applying his expertise in Judaic studies to curriculum and programing at Rego Hebrew!

Rabbi Eli Blokh

Director of Chabad of Rego Park

Over 20 years ago, Rabbi Blokh came as the first Chabad emissary to Rego Park, NY. He immediately opened up a Hebrew School, striving to provide a Jewish education to every Jewish child in the neighborhood, touching over 500 students throughout its years of operation. His program has now evolved into "Rego Hebrew", staying true to the initial goal, adding an artistic twist. Rabbi Blokh continues to serve the Rego Park community, servicing all Jewish needs.
